BigBlueButton is an open source web conferencing system and virtual classroom solution that enables the teaching of remote learners online.
This partnership means that Catalyst can provide Blindside's BigBlueButton platform - which integrates seamlessly with Moodle and Tōtara - to enable teachers and trainers to deliver lessons in virtual classrooms.

BigBlueButton’s features include real-time sharing of audio, video, slides, chat, and screen so that learners can easily interact with and follow the teachers. Learners can also share emoji icons, and participate in polls, and breakout rooms.
